Fabrics

We only use real organic cotton.

We take pride in our sourcing, and we're happy to share it. Here's where every cloth comes from: where the cotton is grown, where the fabric is milled, and where it's cut and sewn. Nothing but real organic cotton.

Just real organic cotton.

Real cotton

Grown, not manufactured.

Ours

Grown in the ground, with sunlight and water. Pure plant.

Theirs

Made in a factory, from petroleum. Pure plastic.

Raw organic cotton fabric before cutting

Certified

What certified means here.

The cotton and the yarn in every cloth are certified organic, to GOTS or USDA organic standards. So is the thread.

The certificates stop there. They don't cover the knitting, the cutting or the sewing, so we don't put a certification logo on the cloth. We say certified organic cotton, and we can show you the paperwork behind it.

What goes in: certified organic cotton fabric, certified organic cotton thread. Nothing else.

Care

Machine wash and dry with like colors.

Skip fabric softener and dryer sheets. They coat the fibers, and a coated cloth doesn't soak anything up.

Size

We cut every cloth a little big on purpose. The first wash shrinks it to size.

Stains

Yes, they'll stain. Cotton is pure plant, so it soaks things up, makeup included. Rinse after use with cool water and a drop of soap, hang to dry, wash before the next use. Sunlight fades stains on undyed cotton.

Your skin deserves real.
